I’m a transplanted East coaster, and I admit it took a little getting used to a flatter, ocean-free Midwest. While I still live on East coast time, I love pretty much everything about the Chicago area.
I try to read daily – which can be hard to do in this line of work – and regularly indulge my passion for Tudor-era books, both fiction and nonfiction. Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel is one of my all-time favorites, and I blame her for my obsession with Henry VIII, his various wives, and the scheming, never boring Tudor court. Other interests (more obsessions?) include chocolate, coffee, Pure Barre workouts, yoga, and rubber stamping. Oh – and I love cats.
